Born from the collaboration between Yann Gonzalez and the musician Jita Sensation, Fou de Bassan is a fluid sexual utopia, an erotic dream, a free improvisation on the notes of a saxophone that warms the night. Between Louis Malle, Lynch and Fassbinder, the film is a lesbian reinterpretation of cruising, a seductive game en plein air, a feminine "querelle de Brest" where fog and pinkish-blue neon envelop a dead city enlivened by desire, that is transformed into a stage.

It is queer cinema also in its form, a cinema that is not afraid to cross the borders of genres: video clip? Short film? Definitions are banished. In the night, ghosts are released and magic vibrates to the sound of music.
