La rivoluzionaria Indianara lotta per la sopravvivenza delle persone transgender in Brasile. Una dei più vibranti caratteri apparsi sullo schermo da tempo, Indianara, viene colta dai registi Aude Chevalier-Beaumel e Marcelo Barbosa in un momento cruciale per la storia politica brasiliana. The revolutionary Indianara fights with her gang for the survival of transgender people in Brazil. In the shelter she founded, in the streets and the demonstrations, she strives to practice her ideals, including in her relationship with Maurício, her husband. Nearing her fifties, facing the attacks of her political party, and suffering the advance of totalitarianism, Indianara joins forces for a last act of resistance.
One of the most vibrant people seen on screen in a while, Indianara is caught by directors Aude Chevalier-Beaumel and Marcelo Barbosa at a turning point in Brazil's political history.
