Carlos spazza e pulisce il pavimento di una bottega di barbiere d’altri tempi. Alla vigilia della festa dell’indipendenza, tra i clienti appare Julio. Carlos sweeps and mops the floor of an old-time barbershop. The day before Independence Day, Julio comes into the shop. Their eyes meet, and when the barbershop closes Julio comes back for Carlos. They spend the night together, eating, chatting and even dancing, fully aware that this encounter will be short-lived.
