The young Anne lives in a small village dominated by a power station in the south of Holland, where everyone is as connected to one another as the cables in the sky. However, with the rebel Lela's coming, Anne's monotonous and boring summer, as her life itself, will change irremediably. Set in the hot atmosphere of a Dutch summer, Zomer is a movie about limits and the conventions originating them, a fascinating portrait of a teenager who looks for a path far from stereotypes to reach and to affirm her own identity.
