Annemarie Schwarzenbach, scrittrice, fotografa e giornalista svizzera, emblematica e scoppiettante figura dei tardi anni '30, figlia della "generazione perduta", antifascista e lesbica, dipendente da morfina ed altre svariate droghe, viene dimenticata fino alla metà degli anni '80, quando viene pubblicata la sua biografia. Nel 2014, 16 giovani attori ricostruiscono la vita della Schwarzenbach incarnando lei, i suoi amici e i suoi amori, emulandone i gesti, i vizi e le contraddizioni. Ne esce fuori un ritratto allo stesso tempo singolare e molteplice, una biografia colma di intime memorie, ricreato dall'incontro dello donna di ieri con la generazioni di oggi, in cui il confine tra realtà e finzione, inevitabilmente, diventa sempre più confuso.

Annemarie Schwarzenbach was a Swiss writer, photographer and journalist, emblematic and crackling figure of the late 30s, child of the "lost generation", antifascist and lesbian, addicted to morphine and other drugs. She was forgotten until the mid-80s, when her autobiography was published. In 2014, 16 young actors recreated Schwarzenbach's life impersonating her, her friends and her lovers, emulating her gestures, her vices and her contradictions. A portrait pops out, at the same time singular and multiple, a biography full of intimate memories, recreated from the gathering of the woman of yesterday with today's generation, in which the border between reality and fiction becomes inevitably more and more blurred.
