A Varziela, Vila do Conde, la più grande Chinatown del Portogallo, un uomo con un cappello e una pistola si aggira attorno ai capannoni alla ricerca di un magazzino di scarpe andato a fuoco. Tra le strade della grande area industriale l’uomo incrocia una donna e segue il vento del nord per raggiungere il drago rosso, simbolo della tessera del Mahjong. Sullo sfondo due cosche della mafia cinese regolano i conti mentre il vento dell’est spira in direzioni inaspettate e imprevedibili. Un thriller pieno di mistero, una tensione che cresce dentro il percorso di un uomo che si intreccia con l’inatteso esito di una partita di Mahjong.
