Jake è un ragazzino di tredici anni da poco trasferitosi con i suoi genitori a Brooklyn nella casa lasciata in eredità dal nonno appena morto. Jake is a thirteen-year-old boy who recently moved with his parents in Brooklyn in the house inherited from his grandfather who just died. In this new district Jake will meet Tony, a boy his own age of Chilean origins, with whom he will make friends by sharing the dream of entering the LaGuardia Art and acting school of Manhattan. Their carefree friendship would pursue, full of discoveries and fun right until an economic dispute between the families of the two will affect their relationship. Little men, or the torments of young Jake, tells the story of a boy at the threshold of adolescence who discovers desire, a delicate coming-of-age story entrusted to the sweetness of the two interpreters that return with spontaneity and lightness the restlessness of their age.
