Una ricerca artistica che orbita attorno a un personaggio sfuggente come Moana Pozzi non può che svolgersi sotto il segno dell’insolubilità. A partire dal dialogo con le immagini della pornostar, Nao costruisce il proprio tentativo di diserzione: in fuga dalla moralità, dalla norma e dal sistema capitalistico, abbandona i binari di un lavoro ricco di costrizioni, per intraprendere la professione di cam girl. Il documentario di Linuža, ambientato a Palermo, insegue il quotidiano di Nao, innervato di domande su arte, desiderio, lavoro e politica che non si cristallizzano mai in dogmi. Perché lavorare non rende più libere, immaginare un presente alternativo a volte sì.

An artistic research orbiting around an elusive character like Moana Pozzi cannot but take place under the sign of insolubility. Starting with a dialogue with the images of the porn star, Nao constructs her own attempt at desertion: fleeing from morality, the norm, and the capitalist system, she abandons the tracks of a job full of constraints to take up the profession of cam girl. Linuža’s documentary, set in Palermo, chases Nao's daily life, innervated with questions about art, desire, work and politics that never crystallize into dogmas. Because working does not make one freer, imagining an alternative present sometimes does.

A Parigi, il regista tedesco Tomas intreccia una storia di sesso con la giovane francese Agathe, portando alle estreme conseguenze il rapporto critico e problematico con il marito inglese Martin. Rimbalzando fra l’uno e l’altra, Tomas dovrà fare i conti con le sue colpe e le sue indecisioni.

Un film sui passaggi e le trasformazioni, fra le relazioni e fra le persone; una coreografia di corpi e di desideri per tracciare la diseducazione sentimentale di Tomas (interpretato dal celebre Franz Rogowski), che vorrebbe fare il regista dei propri partner (Ben Whishaw e Adèle Exarchopoulos) e della sua vita ma è destinato a scontrarsi con lo sguardo altrui. Parigi diventa il contenitore di un incrocio di lingue e di storie d’amore, accogliendo una nuova inedita miscela di dramma fassbinderiano e brillante indagine sui sentimenti degna della Nouvelle Vague.

In Paris, the German director Tomas starts a sexual relationship with the young French Agathe, bringing his critical and problematic wedding with his English husband Martin to the verge of collapse. Bouncing between both of his lovers, Tomas will have to face his faults and his uncertainties.

A movie about passages and transformations, among bonds and people; a choreography of bodies and desires to draw the sentimental miseducation of Tomas (played by the famous Franz Rogowski), who would like to be the director of his partners (Ben Whishaw and Adèle Exarchopoulos) and of his life but is destined to crash against the other’s gazes. Paris becomes the location of an intertwining of languages and love stories, welcoming an original mix of Fassbinder-like drama and brilliant study of feelings worth of the classic Nouvelle Vague.
