Siamo a Kutaisi, in Georgia. Lisa, una farmacista, e Giorgi, un calciatore, s’incontrano in una mattina che sembra uguale a tante altre. Dal loro sguardo nasce la promessa di vedersi nuovamente l’indomani, nello stesso crocevia che entrambi percorrono regolarmente tutti i giorni. Quello che non sanno è che un occhio malevolo li ha osservati e deciso di colpirli con una maledizione che li farà svegliare con volti e corpi diversi. A rivelare questo segreto saranno gli oggetti della strada (la grondaia, il tombino, il vento) che li spronano ad andare ugualmente all’appuntamento, anche se non potranno riconoscersi. Lisa trova un lavoro nel bar vicino al ponte dove i due si erano dati appuntamento, e anche Giorgi troverà un lavoro lì vicino. Da qui le loro vite si alternano sullo schermo e i due continueranno a vedersi senza riconoscersi, fino a che qualcuno non offrirà loro la nuova possibilità di un incontro.

Una favola contemporanea in cui poesia e realismo magico si fondono con la città di Kutaisi che contribuisce, insieme a Lisa e Giorgi e a tutti coloro che vi transitano, a ricreare la magia del cinema.

Lisa, a pharmacist, and Giorgi, a footballer, bump into each other in their city, Kutaisi, on a morning like many others. Clearly dazed, they arrange a date on the day after without even having told each other their names. What they don't know is that the surveillance camera becomes an evil eye, the drainpipe an oracle, they close their eyes and are cursed, condemned to wake up the next day looking completely different. The objects in the street (the gutter, the manhole, the wind) encourage them to go to the appointment anyway even if they won’t recognize each other. Lisa gets a job at the new cafe by the bridge where the ill-starred lovers had arranged to meet, and Giorgi too will find a job nearby. From this moment the daily life of Lisa and Giorgi alternate on the screen as they see each other every day without knowing who they are until the day somebody else offers them the opportunity to meet again.

A contemporary fairy tale in which poetry and magical realism blend with the city of Kutaisi, which contributes, together with Lisa and Giorgi and all those who pass by, to recreate the magic of cinema.
