Violante, una suora cattolica giovane e bella, affronta alcuni problemi coniugali con il marito Gesù Cristo, che la insegue negli angoli bui di un convento in rovina e cerca di punirla per i suoi (presunti) peccati. In una notte buia e tempestosa la loro lotta prosegue a colpi di citazioni bibliche. Dopo essere sfuggita alla sua rabbia gelosa, la suora si aggira per i vicoli bui e per i bar della città come un vampiro. Condannata alla solitudine, tutto ciò che vuole è un uomo.

Le citazioni bibliche si succedono e le vulnerabilità emergono, mentre il dogmatismo insito nel cattolicesimo impedisce di trovare conforto e affrontare le contraddizioni e i desideri della carne.

Violante, a young and beautiful Catholic nun, faces marital problems with her husband Jesus Christ, who chases her into the dark corners of a ruined convent and tries to punish her for her (alleged) sins. On a dark and stormy night their struggle continues with biblical quotations. After escaping his jealous anger, the nun wanders the dark alleys and bars of the city like a vampire. Condemned to loneliness, all she wants is a man.

As Bible’s quotations unfold, vulnerabilities emerge, the dogma at the heart of Catholicism keeps from finding solace and facing from the contradictions and desires of the flesh.
