Carmen prova il vestito per il giorno del suo fidanzamento e il suo futuro sembra già stato deciso: si sposerà, farà dei figli, baderà alla casa. A diciassette anni ha abbandonato gli studi e vorrebbe aprire una parruccheria. Lola invece è presa dallo studio: gli esami sono ormai vicini. Suo padre la vuole al mercato a vendere frutta e verdura, lei dà ripetizioni ai bambini e intanto crea uccelli multicolore con la sua bomboletta. Una mano sfiorata al mercato e un pacchetto di sigarette condivise in segreto sanciscono la nascita di un desiderio profondo.

She is seventeen, she is dropped out of school and she wants to open her own hair saloon. Lola is busy studying: she is going to take some tests soon. His father wants her selling vegetables at the market, while she tutors kids and brings colorful birds out of her spray can. The gentle touch of a hand and pack of cigarettes secretly shared will give birth to a deep desire.
