Un progetto d’amore ad alto valore sociale e politico: due donne decidono di rendere pubblico il loro giorno più bello, anche se sanno che così facendo si esporranno all’incomprensione di un paese, l’Italia, dove il matrimonio omosessuale non è ancora riconosciuto. Dal loro seguitissimo blog nasce questo film, che racconta le avventure di due promesse spose fino al fatidico sì. E che non è solo la storia tenera e divertente dei preparativi per una cerimonia italo-svedese, è una denuncia contro la grave arretratezza italiana in materia di diritti civili, e un modo di indicare la direzione giusta: la strada fino a quella cerimonia nei boschi, a quella famiglia allargata riunita senza pregiudizi attorno alla realtà dell’amore.

A love project with a high social and political value: two women decide to let the most important day of their life become a public event, but they know that by doing this they will be exposed to misunderstandings in a country, Italy, where gay marriage is not recognized yet. This film was born from their very popular blog and tells us about the adventures of the two betrothed until their fateful “I do”. And it is not just the tender and amusing story about the preparation of the Italian-Swedish celebration, it also exposes the serious Italian underdevelopment concerning civil rights, it is a way to point the right direction: the one that will lead to that ceremony in the woods, to that extended family all gathered around a reality of love, without any prejudice.
