In una affollatissima discoteca, Malvina, una ragazza incinta, viene molestata e importunata da un gruppo di sbandati. Anna, che si trova lì, la salva e decide di portarsela a casa dove lei e Gordon la ospitano per una notte. Malvina si dimostra fin troppo invadente e finisce per venire cacciata dai due, anche se poi è la stessa Anna a rivolerla a casa. Tra i tre comincia a instaurarsi uno strano rapporto fatto di reciproca attrazione. Marco Ferreri, con la complicità di una sceneggiatura scritta insieme a  Dacia Maraini e Piera Degli Esposti, mette in scena il tema, a lui molto caro, della crisi della coppia con il solito piglio provocatorio e anarchico che contraddistingue i suoi lavori. Presentato in concorso alla 41° edizione del Festival di Venezia, il film presenta la celebre scena della performance non accreditata di Pierangelo Bertoli.

In a very crowded nightclub, Malvina, a pregnant girl, is harassed and bothered by a group of scoundrels. Anna, being there, saves her and decides to bring her home where she and Gordon host her for a night. Malvina proves to be too much of an intrusive person and ends up being driven away by the two, even if later Anna herself wants her back home. Among them a strange relationship made of reciprocal attraction begins to establish. Marco Ferreri, with the complicity of the screenplay written together with Dacia Maraini and Piera Degli Esposti, puts on stage the theme, very important for him, of the relationship crisis with the usual provocative and anarchic tone that identifies his works. Presented in competition at the 41° edition of the International Festival of Venice, the film presents the famous scene of the uncredited performance by Pierangelo Bertoli.
