Un gruppo di attori si trasferisce su un’isola immersa nella natura per fare le prove di un’opera di William Shakespeare, Come vi piace, ma i dialoghi e i rapporti fra i personaggi shakespeariani sembra sempre di più ricalcare la passione, il veleno e l’inganno che scorre fra gli attori, e Luisa, che interpreta Rosalinda, comincia a perdersi dentro questo grande sogno arcadico.
Una ronde di persone, di battute, di sottintesi: gli esseri umani di Piñeiro non si isolano per poter essere finalmente loro stessi, ma per poter finalmente interpretare altro da sé, forse persino per scappare da sé stessi. Una coreografia di piccoli e grandi inganni che ricorda il più grande cinema francese e traduce in immagini e movimenti i magici rivoli linguistici dell’opera di Shakespeare.

A group of actors move to a island surrounded by nature to rehearse As you like it by William Shakespeare, but the lines and the relationships among the characters of the play start to seem very similar to the passion, the venom and the deceit among the actors, and Luisa, who plays Rosalinda, starts to get lost inside this Arcadian dream.
A ronde of people, of dialogues, of implications: Piñeiro’s human beings do not isolate themselves to enthusiastically be themselves, but to enthusiastically interpret someone different from themselves, maybe even to escape from themselves. A choreography of little and big deceptions that reminds of the greatest French cinema and that translates in images and movements the magic linguistic streams of Shakespeare’s works.
