Al di là dell’ammirazione di matrice intellettuale, è il corpo a nutrirsene, a irrorarsi, a infervorarsi e, al contempo, a sperimentare la senescenza.

Joan Crawford’s close-up in Humoresque is for him as destabilizing as the Renaissance statuary, those of the young Turhan Bey make him swoon. Beyond the admiration that revolves around the intellect, it is the body that finds nourishment, that is irrigated and aroused and, at the same time, starts to experience senescence.
