Un bambino smarrito, di fronte a un mondo contemporaneo e ai suoi spazi vuoti, si chiede come crescere. Negli ultimi anni, Caroline Poggi e Jonathan Vinel hanno sviluppato un corpo di lavoro che si potrebbe definire radicale. Pochi registi si sono spinti come loro nel descrivere la violenza della normalità, che in Bébé Colère è esplicitamente chiamata a essere annientata, come rivela una scritta su un muro: «Fuck normality». Seguace della vivida tradizione antiumanista, il protagonista si spinge ancora oltre quando afferma: «Desidero la fine dell’umanità». A lost baby, confronted with a contemporary world and its empty spaces, asks himself how to grow up. Over the last few years, Caroline Poggi e Jonathan Vinel have been developing a body of work one might call radical. Few directors have gone so far as they in describing the violence of normality, which in Baby Anger is explicitly called to be eradicated, as an inscription on a wall reveals: «Fuck normality». A follower of the vivid anti-humanist tradition, the protagonist goes even one step further as he states: «I wish for the end of humanity». No need to say that there is little room left for hope in this vivid portrait of our time.
