Una ragazza di sedici anni osserva i suoi coetanei. A scuola, un gruppo durante le prove di danza e due ragazze che si baciano negli spogliatoi, in uno skatepark e ad un concerto dove il ragazzo che l’ha invitata finisce per flirtare con un’altra ragazza. Le sue emozioni passano attraverso il corpo: cerca di mimetizzarsi, si morde il labbro inferiore, scosta la mano di un ragazzo che si posa sulla sua gamba e studia il proprio riflesso allo specchio con disapprovazione. Nessuna parola, solo sguardi ed espressioni facciali ci mostrano che avere sedici anni non è così facile.

A sixteen year old girl observe her peers. At school, as a group of dancers rehearsing a routine and two girls kissing in the locker rooms, at a skatepark and at concert where the boy who invited her is flirting with another girl. Her emotions run through her body: she tries to blend in, she bites her lower lip, she takes off the hand of a boy who touch her leg, in the mirror she studies her own reflection with disapproval. No words, just glances and facial expressions to testify that being sixteen is not so sweet.
