Atene, anni Ottanta: due sorelle, Anna e Melina, trascorrono gli ultimi giorni d’estate nella loro casa di campagna. Anna sta dando una festa per celebrare il suo compleanno e il passaggio all’età adulta. Presto partirà per l’università, lasciandosi alle spalle la casa d’infanzia e la sorellina. A trascorrere la giornata con lei in piscina ha invitato Maria, la ragazza che le piace. Tutto sotto lo sguardo vigile di Melina, che ama ossessivamente la sorella e desidera a tutti i costi far parte del mondo delle “ragazze grandi”. Quando però non viene invitata alla festa fa di tutto per rendere questa notte indimenticabile, “magica” per sua sorella. Un coming of age horror che guarda a Carpenter e Argento ma anche a Bigelow e Amirpour, con la tensione che si fa palpabile, lasciando naufragare chi guarda nel regno del perturbante, tra erotismo pulsante e stregonesche tensioni. Un gioco al massacro tutto al femminile.

Athens, 1980s: two sisters, Anna and Melina, are spending the last days of summer at their countryside home. Anna is planning a party to celebrate her birthday and her transition to adulthood. Soon she will leave for college, leaving behind her childhood home and her little sister. She has invited Maria, her crush, to spend the day with her at the pool. All of this, under the watchful eye of Melina, who obsessively loves her sister and longs to be part of the world of “cool girls”. When she is not invited to the party, she does her best to make the night unforgettable, “magical”, for her sister.
A coming-of-age that turns into horror, drawing inspiration from Carpenter and Argento, as well as from Bigelow and Amirpour, with a growing tension, bringing the viewer in the realm of the uncanny, between pulsating eroticism and witchy family tensions. An all-female massacre game.
