Da molti anni la giovane Eva è fuggita da casa nella ricerca disperata di un qualcosa che non è in grado di spiegare. Per anni ha viaggiato in lungo e in largo attraverso l’Universo, di pianeta in pianeta. Adesso è sola, nella stanza di un motel che fluttua nello spazio, inesorabilmente attratto dalla gravità di un Buco Nero nelle vicinanze. Una vecchia amica, Sacha, fa il suo ingresso nel motel e incontra Eva. Le due donne passano insieme una notte nostalgica, condividendo memorie sulla loro vita. Uno straniero, una figura malinconica e misteriosa, le spia dalla stanza accanto… Eva racconta che, da quando ha lasciato la Terra, non fa che sognarla. Tutti i suoi sogni sono ambientati sulla Terra. Sono sogni d’amore e di maternità. Più si allontana dalle sue radici, e più queste radici si rafforzano. E nonostante ciò sa di non poter più ritornare.

A young woman named Eva ran away from her home in the desperate search of something she can’t even explain. For years she has been travelling around Space, from planet to planet, and now she finds herself in a solitary motel which floats nearby a massive Black Hole. Sacha, a woman from her past, arrives at the motel. The two women meet and spend a nostalgic night in the motel room, sharing memories of their life on Earth. A stranger, a melancholic and mysterious figure, is spying on them from the room next door.

Eva says that, since she left her birth planet, she can’t stop dreaming of it. They are dreams of love and motherhood. The farther she goes, the stronger her roots feel. And yet she still can’t go back.
