A seguito di un progetto di riqualificazione urbana, Géro sta per essere sfrattato dalla sua casa e dal suo piccolo teatro. Come se non bastasse, un giovane nipote che conosce a malapena, confessandogli di voler diventare un drammaturgo, si stabilisce nella sua casa per scrivere una pièce teatrale con lui. Per combattere la gentrificazione e l’ingiustizia sociale, con la voce roca e il passo un po’ incerto, a Géro non resterà che armarsi di tutto punto e diventare un vero e proprio pirata.

Una fiaba contemporanea, uno sguardo libero che parte dalla periferia per provare ad abitarla in maniera differente, e che indaga l’umanità dei personaggi ragionando su valori di comunità e spazi di socialità.

Following an urban redevelopment project, Géro is about to be evicted from his home and his small theatre. If it wasn’t enough, a nephew he barely knows, confessing him he wants to become a playwriter, settles in his house to write with him a theatre play. In order to fight gentrification and social injustice, with is muffled voice and his shaky step, Géro is forced to fully arm himself and become a real pirate.

A contemporary tale, a free gaze which sets off from the suburbs in order to try to inhabit it in an unconventional way, and which investigates humanity of the characters reasoning about the values of community and social spaces.
