Nei primi anni Novanta, l’artista e musicista Genesis Breyer P-Orridge conosce Lady Jaye, un incontro che segna l’inizio di una storia d’amore fuori norma. Dopo il matrimonio, i due artisti intraprendono il progetto ‘pandroginia’, un processo di trasformazione del loro corpo per assomigliarsi. La loro vita quotidiana diventa un campo di sperimentazioni permanenti, Genesis e Lady Jaye sfidano qualsiasi tipo di norma nel loro agire inventando rituali – quali ricostruire la prima volta che hanno fatto l’amore – che trasformano la loro vita in un’opera d’arte.

Marie Losier ritrae la coppia in un modo intimo e affettuoso attraverso immagini della loro vita quotidiana e la narrazione di Genesis, che ricorda con emozione la sua compagna deceduta e il desiderio che il loro rapporto fosse ricordato come una delle relazioni sentimentali più grandi di sempre.

In the early nineties, the artist and musician Genesis Breyer P-Orridge meets Lady Jaye, a meeting that marks the beginning of an extraordinary love story. After the marriage, the two artists undertake the “pandrogyny” project, a look alike transformation process of their bodies. Their daily life becomes a permanent experimentations camp, Genesis and Lady Jaye challenge every tipe of rules in their act, making up rituals – such as reenacting the first time they made love – which transform their life into an artwork.

Marie Losier portraits the couple in an intimate and tender way through images of their daily life and Genesis’s voice over, who reminds with emotion his deceased partner and the desire that their relationship would be remembered as one of the greatest love story ever.
