Partendo da questo dubbio, suggerito dal sottotitolo dell’articolo di Simon Reynolds Rip It Up and Start Again, le digressioni si ampliano fino a chiedersi di quale punk si sta parlando esattamente: il punk inglese? Il punk degli USA? Mentre il post punk quando può essere datato? E quali gruppi possono essere definiti post punk? La discussione si infervora, finché i ragazzi arrivano allo scontro. Intervallando il cortometraggio con canzoni di The Platters ed Elvis Presley, Gabriel Abrantes e i compagni universitari Katie Widloski e Alexander Carver si divertono a prendere estremamente sul serio la questione.

Two boys are dissertating on the official date of the death of punk and on what British and American bands are worthy of being called punk. With this doubt in mind, suggested by the subtitle of Simon Reynolds's article "Rip It Up and Start Again" the digressions intensify up to wondering which punk they are talking about exactly: British punk? US punk? Post-punk on the other hand, when can it be dated? And which groups can be defined as post-punk? The discussion heats up until the two boys come to a clash. By spacing the short film with songs by The Platters and Elvis Presley, Gabriel Abrantes and his university mates Katie Widloski Carver and Alexander have a good time taking this issue that seriously.
