Vincent Dieutre

Ha studiato presso l'IDHEC di Parigi, dove si è laureato nel 1987. Il suo interesse verso il documentario e l’autofiction viene sancito dal corto Lettres de Berlin (1988). I lungometraggi Rome désolée (1996) e Bologna Centrale (2003) affermano il suo amore verso l’Italia, sbocciato durante un soggiorno di studio. Nel 2012 dirige Jaurès, presentato in anteprima nazionale al Sicilia Queer filmfest. Il film partecipa a numerosi festival internazionali, vincendo nello stesso anno il Teddy Award e il Gran Premio della Giuria alla Berlinale. Oltre all'attività di regista, insegna cinema presso l'Università di Paris VIII e a La Fémis.

He studied at the IDHEC in Paris, where he graduated in 1987. His interest in documentary and autofiction began with the short film Lettres de Berlin (1988). The feature films Rome désolée (1996) and Bologna Centrale (2003) affirm his love for Italy, blossomed during a study period. In 2012, he directed Jaurès, which had its national premiere at the Sicilia Queer filmfest. The film was part of numerous international festivals, winning the Teddy Award and the Grand Jury Prize at the Berlinale in the same year. In addition to his work as a director, he teaches filmmaking at the University of Paris VIII and at La Fémis.

Arnold Pasquier

È autore di un corpus di opere che spazia nei campi della fiction, del documentario e del cinema sperimentale. Divide il suo lavoro tra progetti personali, insegnamento e collaborazioni come direttore della fotografia e montatore. All'età di vent'anni si avvicina alla danza contemporanea e collabora con coreografi come documentarista e come ballerino. Nel 1997 è stato residente a Le Fresnoy. Nel 2004 ha diretto il lungometraggio Celui qui aime a raison in Brasile. Questa esperienza ha segnato un interesse per la rappresentazione della città e dell'architettura che si è sviluppato con L’Italie (2012) e Borobudur (2015).

He is the author of a work that covers the fields of fiction, documentary and experimental cinema. He divides his activity between personal projects, teaching and collaborations as a cinematographer and editor. At the age of twenty, he got closer to contemporary dance and collaborated with choreographers as a documentarian and as a dancer. In 1997, he is resident at the Fresnoy. In 2004 he directed the feature film Celui qui aime a raison in Brazil. This experience marked an interest in the representation of the city and architecture that developed with L’Italie (2012) and Borobudur (2015).

Nato ad Ajaccio nel 1930, è uno dei più importanti registi del cinema francese. All’interno della sua vasta produzione, classica e sperimentale al tempo stesso, vale la pena ricordare Femmes femmes (1974) e Corps a cœur (1979), entrambi presentati nel corso della terza edizione del Sicilia Queer filmfest alla presenza del regista. Tra i suoi film più recenti Faux Accords (2013), Nuits blanches sur la jetée (2015) e Un soupçon d’amour (2020).

Born in Ajaccio in 1930, he is one of the most important French directors. Within his wide production, at the same time classical and experimental, it is worth remembering Femmes femmes (1974) and Drugstore Romance (1979), both presented during the third edition of Sicilia Queer filmfest in the presence of the director. Among his latest movies Faux Accords (2013), Nuits blanches sur la jetée (2015) and Un soupçon d’amour (2020).

Cosimo Terlizzi

È un artista visivo. Vive e lavora in Puglia. Dalla metà degli anni Novanta sperimenta nel suo lavoro l’uso di diversi media, dalla fotografia alla performance, dall’installazione al video. Per il cinema firma la regia di documentari presentati in numerosi festival. Nel 2018 realizza il suo primo lungometraggio di finzione, Dei. Dal 2019 al 2020 è stato il direttore artistico di Asolo Art Film Festival.

He is a visual artist. He lives and works in Italy. From the mid-nineties, in Bologna, he develops his art works through the use of different media, from photography to performance and art video. He has directed documentaries screened in numerous festivals around the world. In 2018 he directed his first feature produced: Dei. From 2019 to 2020, he was the artistic director of Asolo Art Film Festival.
