Il controverso regista di J-Horror Koji Shiraishi realizza un roman porno in pieno stile Nikkatsu, attingendo dalle sue più folli ossessioni (tra cui il mockumentary) per comporre un’ode divertente e stralunata alla perversione e all’amore fuori da ogni regola e vincolo. Una commedia erotica strampalata e imprevedibile, tanto una rielaborazione del pinku eiga tradizionale quanto un’esaltante messa in discussione della cultura pop nipponica.

The pop idol and wrestler Misa the Killer, followed by a camera operator for the making of a documentary, meets the mistress Kanon and becomes herself a mistress in the BDSM club “H”. But being Kanon’s slave and other club’s clients’ mistress can bring more than a trouble…
The controversial J-Horror director Koji Shiraishi realizes a roman porno in perfect Nikkatsu style, combining his maddest obsessions (among which a mockumentary) to compose a funny and eccentric ode to perversion and boundless love. An erotic, wacky and unforeseeable comedy, a traditional pinku eiga re-elaboration as well as an exhilarating questioning of the Japanese pop culture.

Esponente underground e misconosciuto del J-Horror, attivo fin dagli anni ’90 e con più di trenta lungometraggi alle spalle, nasce nel 1973 e si laurea in regia alla Kyushu Sangyo University. Mentre frequenta da assistente set di film come August in the Water (1995) di Gakuryu Ishii e Waterboys (2001) di Shinobu Yaguchi, realizza i suoi primi lavori in autonomia a partire dal 1997 (con Violence Men) tornando spesso sull’horror (Carved del 2007), sull’horror found footage (Occult del 2009, Shirome del 2010), sul torture porn (Grotesque del 2009) e sul pinku eiga (Hyper Villain del 2011), muovendosi fra cinema, home video (la saga dei Senritsu Kaiki File Kowasugi! dal 2012 al 2015) e televisione (la recentissima serie tv Welcome to the Occult Forest del 2022). Pur avendo frequentato alcuni festival internazionali (Toronto, Tallinn Black Nights, Unnamed Footage Festival di San Francisco), è visto pochissimo fuori dal Giappone. In Italia, il Torino Film Festival ha presentato Noroi nel 2005 e Sadako vs. Kayako nel 2016.

Less known underground exponent of J-Horror, working from the 90s and with more than 30 feature length films, he is born in 1973 and graduated in film making at the Kyushu Sangyo University. While attending sets of movies like August in the Water (1995) by Gakuryu Ishii and Waterboys (2001) by Shinobu Yaguchi, he has directed his first feature films of his own since 1997 (starting with Violence Men) coming back frequently to horror (Carved in 2007), to found footage horror (Occult in 2009, Shirome in 2010), to torture porn (Grotesque in 2009) and to pinku eiga (Hyper Villain in 2011), moving among cinema, home video (the series of Senritsu Kaiki File Kowasugi! from 2012 to 2015) and television (the recent tv-series Welcome to the Occult Forest in 2022). Even if he attended some international film festivals (Toronto, Tallinn Black Nights, San Francisco’s Unnamed Footage Festival), he is little seen outside Japan. In Italy, the Torino Film Festival screened Noroi (2005) and Sadako vs. Kayako (2016).
