Pierino Aceti è un pensionato di Bergamo. Fa una vita ordinaria, metodica, attenta a ogni dettaglio. Nel corso di una serie di incontri settimanali durati un intero anno all’interno del suo appartamento, il protagonista racconta al regista Luca Ferri quella che sembrerebbe essere l’anonima quotidianità della sua esistenza. Il ritratto che ne deriva, interamente girato in VHS, è un malinconico e divertente tête-à-tête nel quale il cinema, oggetto della passione di Pierino da tutta la vita, restituisce al nostro eroe la sua devozione e popola così la sua solitudine: il ritmo si dilata, le cose più ordinarie assumono un respiro diverso e Pierino diventa finalmente protagonista di un intero film. Secondo capitolo della trilogia domestica di Luca Ferri dopo Dulcinea.

Pierino Aceti is a retired living gin Bergamo. He has an ordinary, methodical life, accurate in every little details. During a series of weekly meetings lasted an entire year inside his apartment, the protagonist tells to the director Luca Ferri what it’d seem like an anonymous routine of his existence. The portrait derived by that, shot entirely in VHS, is a melancholic and funny tête-à-tête in which cinema, Pierino’s object of passion for his entire life, gives back to our hero his devotion and thus fills up his solitude: the rhythm stretches, the most ordinary things assume a different meaning and Pierino finally becomes protagonist of an entire movie. Second chapter of Luca Ferri’s domestic trilogy after Dulcinea.

Nato a Bergamo nel 1976, si occupa di immagini e parole. Autodidatta, dal 2011 si dedica alla scrittura, alla fotografia e alla regia di film presentati in festival nazionali ed internazionali. Il suo primo lungometraggio di finzione Abacuc, uscito in sala nel 2015, è stato presentato al Torino Film Festival e al Festival de Mar del Plata. Nel 2016 è in concorso alla 73esima Mostra internazionale d’arte cinematografica di Venezia nella sezione Orizzonti con il film Colombi. Nel 2018 Dulcinea è selezionato in concorso al 71esimo Locarno film festival nella sezione Signs of life. Pierino è il suo ultimo documentario. Questi ultimi due film sono parte della Trilogia domestica, il cui terzo capitolo sarà intitolato La casa dell’amore.

Born in Bergamo in 1976, he works on images and words. Self-taught, since 2011 he has been dedicating to writing, photography and direction of films presented to Italian and international festivals. His first feature film Abacuc, realised in 2015, was presented at Torino Film Festival and Festival Internacional de Cine de Mar del Plata. In 2016 he is in competition at the 73rd Venice Film Festival in the Orizzonti section with the film Colombi. In 2018 Dulcinea is selected in competition during the 71st Locarno Film Festival in the Signs of Life section. Pierino is his last documentary. The last two movies are part of the Domestic Trilogy, of which the third chapter will be named The House of Love.
