Il viaggio di un gruppo di giovani ragazzi queer in una casa stregata in Normandia. The Deep Queer Massacre è un omaggio al genere, o meglio, ai generi cui si riferisce: c’è l’horror anni Ottanta, lo splatter, la violenza cruda e grottesca di Joe D’Amato mischiata alle volute goffagini e peripezie estetico-narrative della Troma. Un film artigianale e potente nella sua plasticità quasi rivoltante, che magnetizza a ogni visione; una dichiarazione d’intenti estetica e politica a quello che è il cinema: magia, rimaneggiamento, terrore e soprattutto sessualità e desiderio, in un mix geniale e visivamente febbricitante.
