Dopo un traumatico incontro con la polizia, Fay decide di lasciare la Grecia per sempre. L'amica Sandra l'accompagna nel suo viaggio, per avere più tempo e avere l’occasione per dirle addio. Mentre viaggiano in autobus attraverso il Paese, una violenta discussione con due passeggeri transfobici le costringe a scendere nel bel mezzo del nulla. Sandra approfitta di questo momento per aprirsi con Fay.
Un road movie potente, dall’elegante fotografia, che denuncia in modo chiaro la transfobia e l’omofobia radicate nella società greca, fin dentro le stesse istituzioni, che si mostrano oggi più che mai nel loro volto ignorante, violento e fascista. L’occhio della regia, Alkis Papastathopoulos, è talmente immerso negli eventi e negli sguardi che si scambiano le due protagoniste, che diventa difficile distinguere il film dai loro stessi volti, tanto che l’indignazione diventa un’espressione, la discriminazione diventa un grido, l’affetto nonostante tutto diventa un gesto della mano.

After a traumatizing event involving the cops, Fay is leaving Greece for good. Sandra accompanies her to the bus station, taking this time to say goodbye. As they are travelling by bus across the country, a transphobic attack by two co-passengers leaves them stranded on a highway in the middle of nowhere. Sandra has now the chance to open her soul to Fay.
A powerful road movie, with an elegant cinemaphotography, which clearly denounces transphobia and homophobia rooted in society, even within the institutions themselves, which today are increasingly showing their most ignorant, violent and fascist face. The eye of Alkis Papastathopoulos is so immersed in the events and in the looks of the protagonists that it is more and more difficult to distinguish the movie from their own faces; therefore the resentment becomes an expression, the discrimination becomes an howl, the love – despite everything – becomes an hand gesture.
