È nato a Buenos Aires nel 1982. Vive a New York dal 2011. È regista e scrittore e ha realizzato lungometraggi e cortometraggi presentati in anteprima alla Berlinale, Locarno, Cannes, Toronto e New York. I suoi film di solito hanno come punto di partenza riferimenti letterari cari al regista come William Shakespeare, Cesare Pavese, Saffo e Domingo F. Sarmiento. He is a film director and writer with feature and short films premiered in Berlinale, Locarno, Cannes, Toronto and New York Film Festival. His films usually spring from various literary sources such as William Shakespeare, Cesare Pavese, Sappho and Domingo F. Sarmiento. He teaches cinema at Pratt Institute, New York, and coordinates the filmmaking program at Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola, San Sebastian. He also has worked in film programming for Anthology Film Archives and Punto de Vista film festival. He is currently working on the adaptation of The Lesson of the Master by Henry James and on an essay film based on Francesco Petrarca’s De remediis utriusque fortunae.

Classe 1975, di Buenos Aires, figlio del critico e poeta Julio Llinás, è considerato fra i più importanti esponenti del Nuevo Cine Argentino. Esordisce con Balnearios nel 2002 al Festival del Cinema Indipendente di Buenos Aires, per approdare in Europa con lo stesso film al Festival di Rotterdam del 2003. È l’inizio di una carriera da regista attraverso tanti formati (dal cortometraggio fino a film narrativi di svariate ore come Historias extraordinarias del 2008) e da sceneggiatore, specialmente per Santiago Mitre (con cui collabora per La cordillera nel 2017 e Argentina 1985 del 2022, l’ultimo dei quali in concorso alla 79° Mostra Internazionale d’Arte Cinematografica di Venezia). I suoi film, compresi gli ultimi due (Corsini interpreta a Blomberg y Maciel e Clorindo Testa) viaggiano per i festival di tutto il mondo, da Barcellona a Jeonju fino al Torino Film Festival. Il titanico La Flor (2018), della durata di più di 14 ore, era in concorso al Festival di Locarno.

Born in 1975 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, son of the film critic and poet Julio Llinás, he is considered one of the most important authors of the Nuevo Cine Argentino. His first film, Balnearios (2002), premiered at the Festival of Independent Cinema of Buenos Aires; then, it was presented in Europe at the International Film Festival Rotterdam in 2003. It is the start of a career as a director of different kinds of work (from the short movie to the extra-long titles such as Historias extraordinarias from 2008) and as a scenarist, especially for Santiago Mitre (in particular for the dialogues of La cordillera, 2017, and Argentina 1985, 2022; the latter was in Competition at the 79^th Venice Film Festival). His films, including the last two (Corsini interpreta Blomberg y Maciel and Clorindo Testa) travel through different film festivals around the world, from Barcelona to Jeonju to the Turin Film Festival. The colossal La Flor (2018), lasting more than 14 hours, was in Competition at the Locarno Film Festival.
