Thea abita nella negoziazione costante tra la propria fame sessuale e una realtà in cui esiste la vera fame, il ciclo, l’incomunicabilità linguistica. In un mondo in cui i desideri si propagano come spore, è possibile farsi rapire da un attacco di fame durante una sessione di bondage, può capitare che la bartender che ci attrae si manifesti in casa propria per mangiare una pesca, e può anche essere che si identifichi come un vampiro amante delle mestruazioni.
Accarezzando prospettive post-porno, Marie Luise Lehner progetta una spedizione cinematografica negli spazi in ombra del corpo di Thea. Lì, l’unico modo per orientarsi e immaginare un’altra sessualità è utilizzare gli strumenti vietati per l’esplorazione erotica: l’ironia e la sonorità, forti del proprio potere di desacralizzare e ritornare ai sensi.

Why isn't life a movie? And why not porn? Thea inhabits the constant negotiation between her own sexual hunger and a reality in which there is real hunger, the menses, and linguistic incommunicability. In a world where desires propagate like spores, it is possible to be kidnapped by a hunger attack during a bondage session, it may happen that the bartender we are attracted to manifests herself in one's home to eat a peach, and it may even be that she identifies herself as a menstruation-lover vampire.
Caressing post-porn perspectives, Marie Luise Lehner plans a cinematic expedition into the shadowy spaces of Thea's body. There, the only way to orient and imagine another sexuality is to use the forbidden tools for erotic exploration: irony and sonority, strong in their power to desacralize and return to the senses.

Nata a Vienna nel 1995, è autrice e regista, coordinatrice d’intimità e musicista. Attualmente studia regia nel programma MA della Film Academy di Vienna e pittura contestuale nell'Accademia di Belle Arti di Vienna. I suoi cortometraggi sono stati proiettati in diversi festival internazionali: nel 2017, per esempio, ha ricevuto il Local Artist Award al Crossing Europe Festival per Chewing Gum Cigaretters. Ha ricevuto diversi premi per i suoi scritti. Suona nella band punk femminista Schapka.

Born in Vienna 1995, she’s an author and filmmaker, an intimacy coordinator and a musician. She currently studies directing in the MA Programme at film academy Vienna and contextual painting at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. Her short films were shown in several international Film festivals: in 2017, for example, she has received the Local Artist Award at the Crossing Europe Festival for Chewing Gum Cigaretters. For her writing she received several awards. She plays in the feminist punk band Schapka.
