Giocare, indossare altri generi, raccontare di quel sogno imbarazzante che ha a che fare con Erdogan e la depilazione. Fare sesso. Geh Vau vuol dire tutto questo, ma anche ritrarsi da un presente che relega le “cose di poco conto” a intercorsi e interruzioni di una temporalità produttiva. Il quotidiano delle coinquiline Thea e Paula appare dislocato e rivendica la propria dimensione gratuita anche quando entra in contatto con l’alterità, Anton, desiderio erotico di Thea. Il tentativo dei due di avere un rapporto sessuale viene costellato di battute d’arresto, dalla chiamata ricevuta da Anton per andare al concerto delle Schapka alla mancanza del preservativo, che sembrano confondersi con l’esperienza erotica stessa.
Marie Luise Lehner sfugge dai dettami della temporalità portando con sé i propri personaggi e i loro desideri in un cortometraggio denso di euforia e scoperte.

Playing, wearing other genders, talking about that embarrassing dream that has to do with Erdogan and hair removal. Having sex. Geh Vau means all this, but also withdrawing from a present that relegates “things of little importance” to intercourses and interruptions of a productive temporality. The daily life of roommates Thea and Paula appears dislocated and claims its own gratuitous dimension even when it comes into contact with otherness, Anton, Thea's erotic desire. The two's attempt to have sexual intercourse is peppered with setbacks, from the call received from Anton to go to the Schapka concert to the lack of a condom, which seem to be confused with the erotic experience itself. Marie Luise Lehner escapes the dictates of temporality, bringing her characters and their desires with her in a short film full of euphoria and discoveries.

Nata a Vienna nel 1995, è autrice e regista, coordinatrice d’intimità e musicista. Attualmente studia regia nel programma MA della Film Academy di Vienna e pittura contestuale nell'Accademia di Belle Arti di Vienna. I suoi cortometraggi sono stati proiettati in diversi festival internazionali: nel 2017, per esempio, ha ricevuto il Local Artist Award al Crossing Europe Festival per Chewing Gum Cigaretters. Ha ricevuto diversi premi per i suoi scritti. Suona nella band punk femminista Schapka.

Born in Vienna 1995, she’s an author and filmmaker, an intimacy coordinator and a musician. She currently studies directing in the MA Programme at film academy Vienna and contextual painting at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. Her short films were shown in several international Film festivals: in 2017, for example, she has received the Local Artist Award at the Crossing Europe Festival for Chewing Gum Cigaretters. For her writing she has received several awards. She plays in the feminist punk band Schapka.
