A Cordoba, lontana dalla capitale argentina, la fine di un regime militare promette una primavera che non durerà a lungo. “La Delpi” è l'unica sopravvissuta di un gruppo di amici composto da donne transgender e drag queen, che hanno cominciato a morire di AIDS alla fine degli anni '80. In una città tanto cattolica e conservatrice, il "Gruppo Kalas" ha costruito le sue armi e le sue trincee con abiti e performance improvvisate. Oggi, le immagini di un filmato unico e fino ad allora sconosciuto non sono solo una lettera d'addio, ma anche un manifesto di amicizia. Ricordi intrecciati emergono da questi home-movies privati dove vediamo le attrici del "Gruppo Kalas" resistere al genocidio trans usando il palcoscenico come luogo di resistenza.

In Cordoba, far away from Argentina's capital city, the end of a military regime promises a spring that doesn't last long. “La Delpi” is the sole survivor of a group of friends made up of transgender women and drag queens, who began to die of AIDS in the late 80's. In a Catholic and conservative city, the "Kalas Group" made their weapons and trenches out of improvised dresses and playbacks. Today the images from a unique and unknown footage are not only a farewell letter, but also a friendship manifesto.Memories woven through unique footage where the actresses of "Kalas Group” resist to trans genocide using the stage as a place of resistance.

Sceneggiatrice e regista, è nata nel 1986 a Cordoba, in Argentina. Ha studiato Lettere moderne. Nel 2017 il suo primo film El silencio es un cuerpo que cae è stato presentato in anteprima all'IDFA (Paesi Bassi). Il film è stato premiato e selezionato in più di 50 festival internazionali ed è stato presentato in anteprima italiana al concorso Nuove Visioni dell’ottava edizione del Sicilia Queer filmfest. Attualmente sta scrivendo il suo secondo lungometraggio.

She is a screenwriter and filmmaker born in 1986 in Cordoba, Argentina. She studied Modern Literature. In 2017 her first film Silence is a Falling Body was premiered at IDFA (Netherlands). The film was multi-awarded and screened in more than 50 international festivals and was also presented as an Italian première in the Sicilia Queer filmfest’s New Visions competition in 2018. Nowadays she's writing her second feature.
