Bianca è una transessuale di 39 anni che vive nell’hinterland milanese, in un appartamento avvolto da una tenace penombra, scalfita soltanto dalla luce delle candele. Riceve ogni giorno telefonate di lavoro che si concretizzano in appuntamenti in cui il sesso è forse l’aspetto meno insolito. Lei attende però soprattutto la telefonata di Natasha, sua compagna di una vita che vive in Brasile e con la quale progetta di ricongiungersi. Bianca è anche figlia d’arte. Suo padre era lo scultore Cesare Riva e la sua presenza aleggia in ogni angolo della casa.
Dopo e , è la terza parte di una Trilogia domestica che, attraverso un rigoroso equilibrio formale, si addentra nelle vite delle persone che abitano e rendono unici e sorprendenti questi spazi.

Bianca is a 39-year-old transsexual who lives in the Milanese hinterland, in an apartment wrapped in a dim light, grazed only by the light of the candles. Every day she receives business calls that usually concretize in dates where sex is perhaps the least unusual aspect. Above all, however, she awaits the phone call from Natasha, her lifelong partner who lives in Brazil and with whom she plans to reunite. Bianca is also daughter of an artist. Her father was the sculptor Cesare Riva, whose presence hovers in every corner of the house.
After and , is the third part of a Domestic Trilogy that, with a rigorous formal balance, enters the lives of people who live and make these spaces unique and surprising.

Nato a Bergamo nel 1976, si occupa di immagini e parole. Autodidatta, dal 2011 si dedica alla scrittura, alla fotografia e alla regia di film presentati in festival nazionali ed internazionali. Il suo primo lungometraggio di finzione Abacuc, uscito in sala nel 2015, è stato presentato al Torino Film Festival e al Festival de Mar del Plata. Nel 2016 è in concorso alla 73esima Mostra internazionale d’arte cinematografica di Venezia nella sezione Orizzonti con il film Colombi. Nel 2018 Dulcinea è selezionato in concorso al 71esimo Locarno film festival nella sezione Signs of life e, insieme al successivo Pierino, seconda parte della Trilogia domestica, è stato presentato in concorso al Sicilia Queer filmfest 2019.

Born in Bergamo in 1976, he works on images and words. Self-taught, since 2011 he has been dedicating to writing, photography and direction of films presented to Italian and international festivals. His first feature film Abacuc, realised in 2015, was presented at Torino Film Festival and Festival Internacional de Cine de Mar del Plata. In 2016 he is in competition at the 73rd Venice Film Festival in the Orizzonti section with the film Colombi. In 2018 Dulcinea is selected in competition during the 71st Locarno Film Festival in the Signs of Life section and, together with the subsequent film Pierino, second part of the Domestic Trilogy, was screened in competition at the Sicilia Queer filmfest 2019.
