Alice è una ragazza spensierata. Scorrazza per la città con un gruppo di amiche, con le quali è in grande sintonia. Il suo fidanzato, Albin, sembra desiderarla molto. Tra i due la definizione dei ruoli talvolta è schematica, noiosa, tanto che Alice si sente trattata in modo fin troppo cavalleresco. Cosa accadrà quando Alice deciderà di mettere alla prova Albin con un piccolo regalino di 18 centimetri acquistato in un sexy shop?
Linguaggio filmico fresco, diretto e contemporaneo per una vicenda che non a caso si svolge in gran parte all’aperto, sotto i raggi del sole e in una dimensione pubblica che favorisce gli incontri e il confronto tra i personaggi: forse la ridefinizione della retorica machista e dei ruoli di coppia sclerotizzati arriverà da adolescenti capaci di mettersi in gioco e ascoltare l’altro.

Alice is a carefree girl. She runs around the city with a group of friends, with whom she is in great harmony. She is in a relationship with her boyfriend, Albin, who seems to want her very much. Between the two, the definition of roles is sometimes schematic, boring, so much so that Alice feels treated in a way that is far too chivalrous. What will happen when Alice decides to put Albin to the test with a small 18cm gift purchased in a sex shop?
A fresh, straightforward and contemporary cinematic language for a story that, not by chance, mostly takes place in the open air, under the sunbeams and in a public dimension that favors encounters and confrontation between the characters: perhaps the redefinition of macho rhetoric and sclerotic couple roles will come from teenagers who are able to get involved and listen to each other.

Si è laureata in regia cinematografica nel 2015, presso la Stockholms Konstnärliga Högskola. In questa occasione ha presentato Debut, cortometraggio che parla di due ambiziosi modelli. Il suo primo corto in carriera è Längs Vägen del 2011, la storia di due camionisti che portano avanti una relazione segreta. Del 2014 è invece Varannan vecka, incentrato su un complicato rapporto madre-figlia. Nel 2018 ha partecipato con Fuck You al Festival di Locarno. Oggi gestisce la casa di produzione cinematografica Verket Produktion insieme al regista Jerry Carlsson.

She graduated in film directing in 2015, at the Stockholms Konstnärliga Högskola. On this occasion she presented Debut, a short film about two ambitious models. However, her first career short film is Längs Vägen from 2011, the story of two truck drivers carrying on a secret relationship. In 2014 she directed Varannan vecka, focused on a complicated mother-daughter relationship. In 2018 she participated in the Locarno Festival with Fuck You. Today she runs the film production company Verket Produktion with director Jerry Carlsson.
