Un’avventura frenetica che, senza ricorrere a sottigliezze, esplora le dinamiche del desiderio di individui gender fluid. Costantemente in bilico tra libido, godimento personale e reciprocità del contatto, i personaggi sono alla ricerca di una strada che possa condurre, anche attraverso metamorfosi corporee, alla “porta del corpo” altrui, riscoprendo altresì, sotto una nuova luce, il proprio sé. L’animazione psichedelica – col suo piglio punk attento all’etica del DIY – garantisce una libertà espressiva pressoché totale e una flessibilità narrativa che permette al corto di sfociare nel gioco senza mai perdere la sua carica graffiante.
An explicit rush adventure which explores the dynamics of desire of gender-fluid individuals. Constantly poised between libido, personal pleasure and reciprocal contact, the characters are looking for a way that, even through bodily metamorphosis, can lead to the others’ “door of the body”, while rediscovering their own selves in a new light. The psychedelic animation – with its punkish attitude, attentive to the DIY ethic – guarantees an almost total freedom of expression and a narrative flexibility that allows achieving some kind of playfulness without ever losing its scathing edge.

Nata nel 1970, è uno dei pochi animatori in Danimarca a disegnare su carta, un’arte che coltiva da quando aveva quattordici anni. Nel 2002 ha avviato il proprio studio, la Naked Love Film & Koppel Animation. I suoi corti hanno ricevuto numerosi premi. Naked Love – Ea’s Garden (2012), Little Vulvah & Her Clitoral Awareness (2013) e Seriously Deadly Silence (2015) sono stati selezionati in più di cento festival internazionali. Attualmente sta lavorando alla realizzazione del suo cortometraggio più ambizioso, We Got Lost on the Other Side of Wilderness.
Born in 1970, she is one of the last standing animators in Denmark who is still drawing on paper, an art she has been practicing since she was fourteen years old. In 2002 she started her own studio, called Naked Love Film & Koppel Animation. Her shorts have received numerous awards. Naked Love – Ea’s Garden (2012), Little Vulvah & Her Clitoral Awareness (2013) and Seriously Deadly Silence (2015) have been selected to more than a hundred international film festivals. She is currently working on her biggest film so far, the erotic epos We Got Lost on the Other Side of Wilderness.
