Alicia si trova a dover ricostruire i ricordi della notte appena trascorsa per provare a riconquistare la sua donna. Quello che ricorda potrebbe però separarle per sempre. Fra triangoli amorosi consenzienti e sospetti d’infedeltà, la narrazione si snoda all’insegna di un polimorfismo radicale che mescola soffuso sentimentalismo e ghost story. Una peregrinazione costellata di glitch – enfatizzati dalla colonna sonora – e schegge visive prive di una precisa collocazione spazio-temporale, affastellate secondo un approccio alogico che rende tangibile il passato, con i suoi turbamenti legati alle “intermittenze del cuore” e con i suoi ricordi dolenti.
Alicia must piece together the memories from the night before, if she is to win her lover back. What she remembers could keep them apart forever. Amid agreed love triangles and suspicions of infidelity, the narrative unfolds in a radically multifaceted way that blends vague sentimentalism and ghost story. A peregrination studded with glitches – emphasized by the soundtrack – and visual splinters lacking a precise space-time collocation, bundled up following an alogical approach that can make the past tangible, with all its painful memories and against the backdrop of the “intermittences of the heart”.

È uno sceneggiatore, direttore della fotografia e regista che, negli ultimi venti anni, ha lavorato in giro per il mondo. I suoi lavori sono stati presentati in numerosi festival internazionali. Si è laureato in Arti multimediali al Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology e specializzato in Cinema e produzione presso la Chapman University di Los Angeles. È uno dei cofondatori della Human Pictures, società di produzione impegnata in creazioni dal forte valore sociale.
He is a writer, director and cinematographer who has worked around the world for the past twenty years. His work has been screened widely at international film festivals. He holds a BA in Multimedia Arts from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and a MA in Film Production from Chapman University in Los Angeles. He is one of the co-founders of Human Pictures, a production company dedicated to media creation for social change.
