In un futuro distopico nel quale la sopravvivenza del pianeta dipende dai pochi resti della foresta Amazzonica, la coppia di eco-attivisti Rob e Ryan rinuncia alla sua missione dopo aver preso coscienza dell’impossibilità di salvare l’umanità dall’annientamento. Abbandonata la foresta, i due adottano il piccolo Sasha, nato da una giovane donna che per denaro ha deciso di dare il suo utero in affitto e che muore durante il parto. Posti di fronte al cinismo e all’egoismo delle loro scelte, mentre tutto attorno si svolge l’Apocalisse, Rob e Ryan sono costretti ad affrontare senza più ipocrisie le loro stesse contraddizioni.

In a dystopian future where survival of all life on the planet depends on the ragged remnants of what used to be the Amazon rainforest, eco-activist couple Rob and Ryan acknowledge the fact that their mission to save humanity from extinction is doomed. Leaving the rainforest behind, they and adopt little Sasha, born of a young woman who rented her womb for money only to die giving birth. Forced to look straight into the cynicism and selfishness of their choices, while Apocalypse rages around them, Rob and Ryan must finally face their own contradictions without hypocrisy.
