Il titolo del corto realizzato dall’Equipo Palomar è preso dal copione mai reso pubblico ritrovato nell’archivio del prolifico scrittore, antropologo e attivista LGBT Alberto Cardín, morto di AIDS a Barcellona nel 1992. Riadattato dall’Equipo Palomar, il copione di Cardín diventa un’esuberante, erratica ed erotica esplorazione sul narcisismo, la blasfemia, il travestitismo, la morte di Pier Paolo Pasolini e il caso Schreber.

The title of the short film created by Equipo Palomar is inspired by a script found in the archive of prolific writer Alberto Cardín, anthropologist and LGBT activist who died of AIDS in Barcelona in 1992, and whose script had never been released. Readapted by Echo Palomar, Cardin’s script becomes an exuberant, erratic and erotic exploration of narcissism, blasphemy, disguise, of the death of Pier Paolo Pasolini and the Schreber case

L’Equipo Palomar, composto dagli artisti Mariokissme e R. Marcos Mota, è un progetto artistico incentrato sull’investigazione, il recupero e la produzione di una memoria transgender e omosessuale. Il Palomar è quindi un ambiente di lavoro, una posizione politica e un nuovo ruolo istituzionale. I suoi artefici sono artiste, programmatrici, curatrici e generatrici di discorsi critici. Questo laboratorio queer combina molteplici identità per trovare un modo di cambiare il lavoro artistico.

Equipo Palomar, composed of artists Mariokissme and R. Marcos Mota, is an artistic project that focuses on the investigation, recovery and production of transgender and homosexual memory. Palomar is therefore a working environment, a political position and a new institutional role. Its authors are artists, programmers, curators, and generators of critical speeches. This queer lab combines multiple identities so as to find a way to change artistic work.
