Erik è stato appena lasciato da Marely, ha già provato a riconciliarsi con l’ormai ex fidanzato ma inutilmente, non gli resta che affidarsi a un video per ripercorrere i ricordi, i sentimenti, i propositi ormai perduti: ciò che desideravano di più era una famiglia insieme ma tutto ciò aveva un prezzo troppo alto. Un lungo piano sequenza che affronta le tematiche della fecondazione eterologa e delle coppia di fatto con semplicità e naturalezza.
Erik has just been dumped by Marely. After several attempts at reconciliation with his ex-boyfriend, Erik can only turn to a video to recall his memories, feelings and lost propositions. Their greatest dream was to build a family together, but the price to pay was too high. A single long sequence that tackles artificial insemination and civil unions with simplicity and spontaneity.
Björn Elgerd
Dopo la laurea in recitazione all'età di 22 anni interpreta il suo primo ruolo allo Stockholm City Theatre, che è stata la sua casa da allora, lavorando con alcuni tra i più famosi registi e attori svedesi. È stato uno dei personaggi principali nel corto Undress Me, che ha vinto il Teddy Award per il Miglior Cortometraggio al Berlinale 2013 ed è stato presentato nella terza edizione del Sicilia Queer filmfest. We Could Be Parents è il suo debutto come sceneggiatore e regista.
After his Bachelor in acting, at the age of 22, he played his first role at the Stockholm City Theatre, which has been his home ever since and where he has worked with some of the most famous directors and actors in Sweden. Björn played one of the lead characters in the short film Undress Me, which won the Teddy Award for Best Short Film at the Berlinale 2013 and was screened at the third edition of Sicilia Queer filmfest. We Could Be Parents is his debut as a writer and film director.
