Una mattina, un uomo apre la finestra del proprio appartamento e scorge nel palazzo di fronte una presenza che non aveva mai notato prima. L’avvenimento inaspettato innesca una tormentata serie di riflessioni introspettive. L’uomo è infatti avvezzo al voyerismo, all’attenta osservazione della realtà circostante e dei personaggi che la popolano, ma spinto dal desiderio e dall’attrazione verso il nudo maschile, stavolta potrebbe decidersi ad agire.
One morning, a man opens the window of his apartment and sees in the opposite building a presence which he had never noticed before. This unattended event triggers a tormented series of introspective reflections. The man is indeed accustomed to voyeurism and to have a sharp look over his surroundings and the characters that inhabit them, but driven by the desire and the attraction towards the male nude, this time he could decide to dive into action.

Vive e lavora a Parigi. Dopo aver studiato scienze, ha frequentato l’École nationale supérieure des Beaux-arts di Parigi. Dal 2004 ha lavorato sia nel cinema sia nella fotografia. Il suo primo film, Sous le ciel de ta peau (2009), è stato selezionato al Festival Internazionale del Documentario di La Rochelle nel 2009. Humus, il suo secondo lavoro, affronta il tema dell’impossibilità di avere figli. Labonde porta avanti la sua ricerca lavorando sulle arti plastiche con Autour d’Humus, che unisce video clip, fotografia e arte digitale. Allo stesso tempo, con Click ma douleur porta avanti una riflessione sul danneggiamento del corpo e sulla sua immagine.
He lives and works in Paris. After his scientific studies, he attended the fine arts courses of the École Nationale des Beaux-arts of Paris. Since 2004, he has been working on cinema as well as on photography. His first movie, Sous le ciel de ta peau, was selected by the International Documentary Festival of La Rochelle in 2009. Humus, his second work, focuses on the theme of the impossibility of having children. Labonde carries out this research by working on plastic art in Autour d’Humus that combines video clips, photographs and digital art. At the same time, he faces a reflection on the damaging of the body and its image, with Click ma douleur.
