È Halloween: una macabra coppia di emarginati si incontra a una festa nel cuore della notte. Travestiti da personaggi femminili simbolo del cinema horror cominceranno un grottesco vagabondare notturno che li porterà a letto, a discutere di personaggi e film dell’orrore. Monster Mash è un atto d’amore verso il cinema horror, che rende omaggio e allo stesso tempo si prende gioco degli elementi omofobici del genere attraverso la sovversione, l’appropriazione e la ri-contestualizzazione.
It's Halloween: a macabre couple of outcasts meets at a party in the middle of the night. Disguised as female cult horror movie characters, they begin a grotesque nocturnal wandering that takes them home, in bed, talking about characters and horror movies. is a love act towards horror cinema, it pays tribute to and at the same time mocks the homophobic elements of this genre through the subversion, the appropriation and the re-contextualization.

Nato a Toronto in Canada, si laurea in regia alla York University. Il suo film di debutto è After (2009), proiettato in più di quaranta festival internazionali, incluso il Toronto’s Inside Out, dove ha ricevuto la Menzione d’onore per il “Best Up-and-Coming Toronto Film or Video Maker” (2009). After è stato selezionato per l’Iris Prize (2009) e ha vinto il premio per il miglior cortometraggio nell’edizione 2011 del Sicilia Queer filmfest. Tra gli altri cortometraggi di Pariselli ricordiamo Frozen Roads (2010), Kiss (2012), Severed (2012) e Pigeon Hole (2013). Nel febbraio del 2012 ha partecipato al Talent Campus della Berlinale e nel giugno dello stesso anno è membro della giuria internazionale del Sicilia Queer filmfest, dove presenta inoltre una retrospettiva sui suoi cortometraggi.
Born in Toronto, Canada, he graduated in movie direction at York University. His debut movie is (2009), screened in more than forty international festivals, including Toronto's Inside Out, where he received the Honorable Mention for "Best Up-and- Coming Toronto Film or Video Maker" (2009). He has then been selected for the Iris Prize (2009) and he was awarded for the best short movie at Sicilia Queer filmfest in 2011. Among Parisielli's shorts, we mention (2010), (2012), (2012) e (2013). In February 2012 he attended the Berlinale Talent Bampus and in June 2012 he was member of the Sicilia Queer filmfest international jury, where he also presented a retrospective on his shorts.
