Nata a Tolosa nel 1979 in una famiglia di musicisti, comincia la sua carriera come violinista e concertista di musica da camera prima di dedicarsi al cinema. Nel 2008 partecipa all’atelier di sceneggiatura della Fémis, dove scrive la sceneggiatura per un lungometraggio, Un petit garçon, attualmente in fase di riscrittura. Nel 2011 realizza La Chambre du nord, cortometraggio prodotto dal GREC, poi nel 2012 Le Maillot de bain, il film che ha vinto la terza edizione del concorso internazionale Queer Short del Sicilia Queer filmfest.

She was born in Toulouse in 1979 from a family of musicians. She began her career as a violinist and chamber music player, before turning to movies. In 2008, while taking part to Fémis screenplay workshop, she wrote the screenplay for her feature film Un Petit Garçon (A Little Boy) which is still being rewritten. In 2011 she made the short La Chambre du Nord produced by GREC. Then, in 2012, came the short The Swimming Trunks who won the third edition of Sicilia Queer filmfest’s international contest, Queer Short.

BENJAMIN CANTU

Regista ungarotedesco. Dopo essersi laureato in animazione, Benjamin ha studiato regia all’Accademia di Film e Televisione di Berlino (dffb). è il film con cui ha debuttato come autore e regista di lungometraggi nel 2011, ed è stato proiettato in anteprima alla 61esima edizione della Berlinale. Per il suo prossimo lungometraggio, , lavora insieme alla sceneggiatrice croata Jasna Zmak. , un altro lungometraggio in fase di produzione, ha partecipato nel 2013 al rinomato Torino Film Lab all’interno del programma di sviluppo di sceneggiatura.

He is a German-Hungarian film director. After the BA in animation, Benjamin studied as a director at the German Film and Television Academy in Berlin (dffb). Harvest marked Benjamin’s debut as a feature film writer/director in 2011. The film premiered at the 61st Berlinale. Now he is writing his upcoming feature film For Real with Croatian scriptwriter Jasna Zmak. The Convert, another feature film still in production, participated in the renowned Torino Film Lab in the script & pitch programme in 2013.

Nato a Cesena nel 1975. Dopo la laurea in Architettura a Venezia nel 2000, si trasferisce a Berlino, dove lavora fino al 2005 come fumettista, illustratore e architetto. Ha pubblicato le graphic novel L’intervista (2013), Cinquemila Chilometri al Secondo (2010), La Signorina Else (2009), Rosso Oltremare (2006), Les Gens le Dimanche (2004). Oggi vive a Parigi e collabora con le sue illustrazioni per The New Yorker, Le Monde, Vanity Fair, La Repubblica, Il Sole 24Ore, Internazionale, Il Manifesto, Rolling Stone Magazine.

Manuele Fior was born in Cesena in 1975. In 2000 he graduated in architecture in Venice and then moved to Berlin, where he worked as an architect, illustrator and cartoonist until 2005. Today he lives in Paris and collaborates as an illustrator with The New Yorker, Le Monde, Vanity Fair, La Repubblica, Il Sole 24 Ore, Internazionale, Il Manifesto, Rolling Stone Magazine.

EVA TRUFFAUT

Fotografa, attrice, doppiatrice, Eva Truffaut è nata nel cinema, giovanissima interprete di film come Gli anni in tasca (1976). Ha lavorato con registi come Serge Bozon, Arnold Pasquier, Pierre Léon e molti altri, ma il pubblico del Sicilia Queer ha cominciato a conoscerla a partire dal sodalizio con Vincent Dieutre in film come Jaurès e Orlando ferito. Ha esposto i suoi lavori in diversi paesi (Francia, Svizzera, Spagna, Portogallo) e la sua ultima mostra fotografica è stata ospitata dalla Galerie Chappe di Parigi, città in cui vive e lavora.

Photographer, actress and voice actress, Eva Truffaut has movies in her blood, she made her debut at a very young age in films like Small Change (1976). She has worked with directors such as Serge Bozon, Arnold Pasquier, Pierre Léon and many others, but Sicilia Queer’s public began to know her after her collaboration with Vincent Dieutre in films like Jaurès and Roland Blessé. Expositions of her photographies have been held in several countries (France, Spain, Switzerland, Portugal), the last one was at the Galerie Chappe in Paris, where she lives and works.

Enfants terribles del teatro contemporaneo per la loro carica eversiva, Stefano Ricci e Gianni Forte esordiscono come duo con HOT, una serie glbt di culto su Sky. La loro formazione è un misto tra Accademia Nazionale d’Arte Drammatica, Scuola americana di Edward Albee, Performing Arts e le factory di fiction TV. Lavorano sul linguaggio poetico, sulle visioni, sui corpi, sulle loro capacità ibridative, spingendosi oltre un genere canonico e proponendo un teatro che sfugge a qualsiasi etichetta. Oggi risiedono a Parigi e stanno lavorando al loro primo film.

Enfants terribles of contemporary theatre due to their subversive energy, Stefano Ricci and Gianni Forte form a brilliant duo. They debuted with HOT, an lgbt cult series for Sky. Their artistic formation is a combination of Accademia Nazionale d’Arte Drammatica, Edward Albee American School, Performing Arts and TV fiction factories. Their use of poetic language, visions, bodies and their hybridism go beyond genre boundaries and offer a kind of theatre that escapes any label. They live in Paris and they are working on their first film.
